$1300 for a busted horn and 802? I guess there is one born every minute.

Actually a rare bird, it's a urethane foam 808. If someone had a single they might pay that and repair it just to have a pair. Not broken it may have brought 2 G's.

They were made right around the end of WWII when metals were scarce. Most are broken beyond repair. With collectors items, price is not based on how much use you get out of an item.
